And then i created a picture.. I took a fotograph of the static of my TV… then i took a fotograph of my Hand… and then… i composed them..

just a little photoshop-playaround… old work.. i kinda feel like i could put here (in my blog) some of my art-stuff

Amazon in heaven…

… a friend of mine came up with this idea:
“Hey, imagine… angels would go to a game-shop in heaven and the would buy games where they can play our lives…”
Hmm dunno how he came up with that – but i took it and thought about it… and in a sudden, i thought of a heaven-version of “the sims” – you know, we are playing games with “simulated People” or with a simulated city (in sim city) … so i realised, Angels wouldn’t play simulations, they would play us in REAL
so i created a Logo for “The Reals” – from the creator of realCity…
and then.. it overcame me and i designed and composed a whole Picture with an angel standing in front of the heaven version of Amazon – Heavazon… and because in heaven, everything is everywhere at the same time, Heavazon is a real store, not an internet store, because they don’t need internet in heaven.. they are internet

so… hehe

Win Win Win – the system within the coincidence

If you believe it or not… yes… i also fell for it.. i joined the “i-must-play-euromillions”-club. this is VERY unusual for me, because i don’t believe in “earning” money by luck.
But there was that friend, he had the idea, that if he counts all the numbers from the last 40 draws and looks, which ones came often and which ones didn’t he could find the perfect numbers.
So it also came over me and began to have fun calculating the oftenness of these various numbers.. and well.. in the end, we had 50 (50! [YES]) different draws, which we took and splitted them through three. i was unsure, but just a second, and then i decided: yeah, why not? i didn’t believe in a win, but i just let it happen..
so we three spent each 50CHF (~40USD) and we decided, to split a possible win through us three… i thought: yeah, once 50CHF is okey – i mean, there was a really HIGH-JACKPOT…

~~~~and now?

YEAH… let’s move on!

what do you believe did we get with our system?
first: in euromillions you have to choose 5 numbers between 1 and 50 PLUS 2 “stars” between 1 and 9

so…

our stars were all false. so no big jackpot for sure

then.. what did we have in the 50 (50!!!!!) draws?

the ZEN Bell – expensivity digitalised

Hey Folks…
Finally another bloggy blog entry. yeah as you remember – i’m sick of computers…
that’s the reason why i didn’t write anymore. but now i’m back for quite an important thing…
A friend of mine (Dreamy) told me lately about something called the “Zen Bell”.. it’s an alarm clock which has as much to do with ZEN like a box filled with nutella. Zen is a very quiet way of working. Zen is the way of nothing.
But that’s another topic i guess these bells are called ZEN because the japanese (and the chinese) character for it (禅) also means meditation – and there we got into the ultimate sense.
those bells are available on www.now-zen.com – but they’re quite expensive.

The good thing about them is the idea. On the page it sais that they repeat gong-bells in a special sequence (the golden ratio) – so i decided to cheap this all up and to create a soundfile with exactly that sequence of sound. And if you’re coming with plagiatism or something like that.. NO… The Gong sound is a free-use sample i had on my Harddisk and i believe that they can’t say the golden ratio is their invention so…

… i will test that alarm-bell overnight. and for all of you, who got the advantage of a CD-Alarm-Clock or something else, that can play MP3s or Burned CDs for wakening sounds:

Computing, computing – future of deformation – what else?

Yo back but bored.
bored of blogging in fact. dunno why and dunno how.. liked the last weeks of blogging. but now, i already got bored of it. why? cuz nobody reads it? no… cuz i have nothing real to say? i guess so.

but that’s another topic.

for now, i want to talk about computers and the other thing that bores me. because there is one single thing that connects the computers to the other boring thing. that thing is the computer itself. they bore the hell out of me. i’m annoyed of developing webpages, bored of programming, bored of network-connections, bored of computing… i just want to do something else… but what?.. the problem is…

… the desperate past leads to a future of deformation … what do i mean by that?
my overcomputed mind is unable to tell me what i want to do besides computer-stuff.. it tells me, that i’m not able to do something else. that computing is the thing i’m talented in.. and i’m scared of the fact, that it could really be true (or truly be real)…

so WHAT ELSE IS THERE? is my mind? what else?
I have no idea… so maybe i’ll just STAY in that position and wait for the better age…

i’m nor desperate neither depressed – i’m happy but unsatisfied – not with my work, with the fact, that i don’t seem to have other possibilities..

Maybe i just need a better plan for my free-time?

who knows? i don’t – yet…

CELL and the german PULS of translating…

You know, german speaking people are funny sometimes, especially if it is about translating movie titles and even more, if they have translate Book titles… but more about that later on.

for now, i want to introduce you the not-new-but-not-that-old-either Novel “CELL” of Stephen King. (the pic’s from amazon, you can buy the book there, no joke)

I want to give you a little preresumee about the book… it’s a preresumee, because i didn’t read it to its end already hehe… but how do i come up with making a resumee about a book i didn’t even read through?
there are three easy reasons:
first i have no idea what else to write about
second yesterday, the character i loved most died within the story
third i want to make people reading the book as soon as possible and as long as i remember its content (and as long as i like the content)

So let’s begin. As you’ve read, my favourite character died. i won’t tell you who or what she or he was now.. cuz’ i’m not a spoiler (in fact, i’m not any part of a car)..
what is the book about? – it’s a novel about what happens, if we suddenly get a weird pulse through our cellphones which turns us to crazy zombie-like beings, which kill everything that hits their way.
You might think now, that this is a normal zombie-run-kill-boring novel, but it’s not. because you’ve forgotten the “stephen king” part. If stephen king writes a novel about something known, it’s always different than we would expect it. So don’t believe, that those stupid, reflex driven killerzombies stay stupid and reflex-driven… …they even seem to become a real society… but i won’t detail that now. and i don’t know much more about them becoming a society for now (as i didn’t read it through).
If you know Stephen king’s work well, than you might expect a kind-of boring, suspence but bloody, detail-driven horror movie, where you read ten pages about the interior look of a room and the items within. But as i said…
…this one’s different… There are details, yeah sure … but it’s not as detail-driven as king’s other stuff… it’s much story and character-driven. (i love to combine words with driven… i’m driven-driven)

that’s all i have to tell you about the book… i really like it for now, and i’m about thre quarters through.. so … if the last quarter becomes a bench of shit, i’ll tell you later.

but now to thing, that annoys me…
the german Title of the book is “PULS” because PULS is the german translation of the “pulse” that happened to come through the phones. This is a quite acceptable “translation” i must confess. but it still remembered me to other books that got very stupid translations….

… i’ll give you some examples… let’s see if you know the original titles…

1. Duddits – this one is easy if you read the book
2. Diabolus – also easy, if you read the book
3. Meteor – oohh… not so easy, cuz you don’t know the author..
and now the one i hate most:
4. Illuminati – hmm.. guess would be easy if you knew the author…

But what’s the worst thing? what have all these words in common? – yeah, these aren’t even real german words! we can let “Meteor” and “illuminati” go through… but still..

okey, let’s uncover them…
Duddits – the original title’s “Dreamcatcher” and the book’s in german called “Duddits” because there is a character called duddits. he’s important, but the “dreamcatcher” is more important… it’s by stephen king.
the other three books are by Dan Brown, and now you could puzzle them together yourself i guess.. but still..

Diabolus – originally called “digital fortress” – and diabolus is the name of a virus. but the name digital fortress has much more meaning than this virus, even if this virus was “a digital fortress”

Meteor – originally called “deception point” – But the original title is talking about some deception.. and that’s quite important in that book…

and last but not least…

illuminati – originally called “angels and demons” – and the title was written in an “ambigram” which means, when you turn the page around, you still read “angels and demons” and this means, that angels also means demons at the same time. And it was a very VERY important point, that you never knew who was the demon and who was the angel.. so…

I confess, it’s important to also give names to the books in german, but i really believe, that with some of the titles, a part of the artistic work of the auther gets lost.

And another example which shows, that german’s the only language, where the books are “renamed” and not translated:

english – The da vinci code
french – le code da vinci
italian – il code da vinci
german – sakrileg

it’s like the baby-version of “find the mistake”…

for me, the book and the movie have always been (and will always be) “Der Da Vinci Code”
and i really don’t see a problem there, cuz CODE is a german word (btw. Google and Cool are german words too… and E-Mail too… where does this lead to?)

what if i’m not really real?

Sometimes my thoughts are so weird, i believe, that if i was a TV-Broadcast… my Picture was flickering, distorted and noisy… You know, i had a talk with a friend.. it was that kind of weird, philosphic talk about being and not being.. and he was like:
“I know that i exist, because i know what i do… but i don’t know, if you are real”
And usual, i would answer that like: “well, same for me, how can i know you are real?”
but this time, i went further with my thoughts and said: “yes, maybe i’m not real!”
You know, what does make me be real? my free will? do i have a free will? are the things i do really ideas by myself, or am i just doing reflexes?
You know how the animals act.. they just react on situations. And what if we don’t do anything else? what if we are just reacting to the big income of informations?
Or maybe i’m just running a program? Maybe i am a program which has just one use. but it works best, as long it doesn’t know it’s use.
Maybe there is one real person on our globe, and every other person is just a program to entertain or challenge this “real person”…
but if not i am the real person, who is it then? shouldn’t it be anyone who’s reading that blog? if not, does this blog even has its right to exist?

Well all summed up, i don’t think anything is making sense. we are just reacting all the time. doing reflexes. even if these reflexes (like writing a blog) seem to be reasonless, they sure are reactions to some information we got.

Peace Calm and the Devil

Thanks to the EIGHT readers of yesterday…
… seems like my blog is gettin’ uninteresting.. but i don’t care.. i decided that this blog is my very own piece of art (mine enough to share it with eight others haha)

so but now, i’ll tell you about the last night… i hope you remember.. Samhain.
I went to the forest with my friends, and we did a “something-like-almost” ritual to honor the special evening. i really liked it and i really felt that we weren’t alone. (with “WE” i meant me, my friends and the people who thought they would get hot witch-action when they watch us).. i felt there was more then we could see, especially because we all heard and sometimes saw “somethings”

it was a very peaceful and calm evening, i really liked it, and watching the moon had let me feel the power of it. You can’t imagine how annoying electricity can be, as soon as you’ve realised the beauty and the strength of the moon.

but then, the devil arrived. not the way you believe now. we decided to take Tarot-Cards, and to ask, which of the cards would be around us for the next year.
and i was the one who took the devil.. he might want to warn me of my obsessions, possessions and addictions… are there any? oh yes. but i won’t go to deep in that topic now. i know my big obsession, but i don’t know if i really should get away from it
maybe the devil helps me to be obsessed and good and sane at the same time?

I told you about me choosing one of the ways of the Junction. i was very sure i would choose one way after that evening. but the night and my friends hit me with a new idea.. i will not decide for now. i will go on trying to weave those ways together, and if i see it doesn’t work that well until 21. of dec, i will again try to choose.

But for now, i’m okey.
